What went into the build
QuiickChat is a groundbreaking AI-powered communication platform designed to eliminate language barriers in real-time. It enables seamless multilingual chat, voice, and video interactions through instant translation, transcription, and AI-powered summaries. Whether users are messaging, calling, or joining video conferences, QuiickChat automatically translates every interaction into their preferred language for effortless communication across 90+ languages.
The platform combines speech-to-text, speech-to-speech, and text-to-speech translation modes, offering a truly immersive multilingual experience. It also features real-time transcription with automatic key-point highlighting and AI-generated call summaries—ensuring users never miss critical details. Designed with scalability, accuracy, and security in mind, QuiickChat bridges personal and business communication across borders.
Process Story
Our goal with QuiickChat was to deliver an end-to-end multilingual experience with minimal latency and high accuracy. We engineered a streaming architecture based on gRPC and WebSocket for low-latency speech and text processing, integrating OpenAI Realtime integrations for translation and summarization. The client-side was built with interactive interfaces, leveraging a custom decoder (DecodeTranscript.js) for real-time transcription rendering and playback synchronization.
- Developed a robust
.protoschema for real-time speech and translation streaming. - Integrated OpenAI’s Realtime integration for instant transcription, translation, and AI summaries.
- Implemented interactive interfaces client-side streaming with smart buffering for low latency.
- Optimized server-side systems system layer with WebSocket-based concurrency and Redis caching.
- Deployed scalable microservices architecture on AWS with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
Technical Overview
The system architecture is built with server-side systems and structured product code on the system layer, while the interface layer utilizes interactive interfaces with real-time data streams. flexible data modeling and Redis provide efficient data persistence and session caching, and gRPC ensures high-throughput streaming between services. Kubernetes enables horizontal scaling across workloads, maintaining a 99.9% uptime and ensuring stable multilingual interactions across thousands of concurrent sessions.
Metrics: 90+ supported languages, 97% translation accuracy, 120k+ active users, and 99.9% uptime.
“QuiickChat has redefined how we communicate across teams in different countries. The live translation and transcription features make meetings feel native, regardless of language. It’s a true leap forward in global connectivity.” — Sarah Johnson, Head of Product, Quiick Technologies Inc.
